When we are on the job, where no Brother or Sister have a watchful eye.
When we are faced with decisions that could cause others to question our integrity.
When surrounded by your co-workers who have the newest lewd joke and perverse mouths that won't stop.
Are we still Apostolic?
When family comes down and they are pressuring you for "old times sake".
When the meal serves up your Pastor's "head on a plate".
When the traditions of the family mean everything to some.
Are we still Apostolic?
When that old friend is in town and just wants to stop by.
When that High School Sweetheart bumps into you at the Super Market.
When that boss has a twinkle in their eye and big plans for your future.
Are we still Apostolic?
The fact is professing to be something and actually being that thing is totally different. This world is full of people professing Christianity, but are they actually being "Christ like"? We fool no one but ourselves when we profess to be one thing and possess the attributes of something less. The Lord knoweth them that are His... and let everyone that calleth on the name of Lord depart from iniquity, for eyes of the Lord are upon His people and He judgeth justly.
